About the procedure
Zerona is a non-invasive procedure for body sculpting that uses Erchonia ® Green Laser Scanner. With laser therapy of volume reduction, Zerona emulsifies fat, creating a pore in the fat cell through which the contents of the fat cells get out and stimulate its natural process of elimination through the lymphatic system. Treatment takes 30 minutes and the recommended time between treatments are 4 to 7 days.

Am I a candidate?
There is a no real candidate for Zerona laser body sculpting. If you are troubled by excess on some body part which you cannot remove with various diets and exercises, this is the treatment for you. You are the candidate also if you want to lose a greater number of centimeters in circumference. For people with BMI over 30, or people who have a problem with obesity, a combination of different treatments is recommended or maybe a surgical procedure such as liposuction.

How do you prepare?
Before first treatment it is necessary to come to the consultation on which critical areas are examined, photographed and measured in detail in order to more easily follow the progress later. In addition to reviewing of the current state, the number of treatments required for achieving the expected results and health condition are estimated. The number of treatments varies from person to person, and the best results are achieved by regular arrivals and performing a minimum of 6 treatments in a period of two weeks.
During the procedure
During each treatment specialist at the Polyclinic Bagatin will set laser diodes on desired areas. After the laser treatment there is a lymphatic drainage treatment, in order to eliminate fat from the body in the best possible way. By lymphatic drainage, also called Presotherapy, is achieved a balance of fluids in the body and better overall health because lymph - a colorless liquid which consists of plasma, white blood cells (lymphocytes) and a red blood cell, ie its lymphocytes bind to themselves foreign or cancerous cells, substances, microbes and expel them from the body. Lymph passes through many lymph glands that are the size of 3-6 centimeters, and their task is to purify the lymph of bacteria by circling the whole body.
When you have finished with the treatment, you can return to your usual daily activities. During treatment or after treatment, there are no any symptoms except of losing centimetres. With laser therapy for volume reduction, Zerona emulsifies fat from hard to reach areas of the body and stimulates its natural process of elimination through the lymphatic system. Recovery time
Zerona treatment requires no recovery time. For best results, after each treatment, it is necessary to drink two litres of water a day, exercise, or at least walk each day for 30 minutes. With regards to food, during the treatment, we recommend expulsion of carbohydrates, coffee and alcohol. Alcohol and caffeine slow down the lymphatic system, which can reduce your final result. Eat smaller portions five times a day, eat whole foods, never skip a meal, have a healthy breakfast, and eat the last meal have at least two hours before bedtime. It is extremely important to pay attention to all of the above, otherwise there is a high possibility that the results will not be what you expected.
Precautions
Zerona treatment is not recommended for people who have heart disease or problems with circulatory system, have a pacemaker, suffer from thrombosis, need organ transplants, women who are pregnant or breastfeeding, and individuals with metal prostheses or any serious illness, and those who take medications for lowering of lipid levels or anticoagulant medications. The treatment is also not recommended for people who have a disorder of the immune system (HIV, AIDS), cancer (active or up to 1 year of remission), cardiovascular diseases, diseases of the lymphatic system, hepatic or renal diseases, Hepatitis A, B, C, and people who take steroids.
