8th HTI (Health Tourism Industry) Conference in Zagreb
Representatives of Bagatin Clinic have participated at the 8th HTI (Health Tourism Industry) Conference in Zagreb which is the largest B2B conference for medical tourism in Europe. 400 participants from 40 different countries have gathered in the hotel Westin in Zagreb.
Bagatin Clinic has had the honor to participate as the silver sponsor of this great event two years in a row. Our CEO, Mr. Ognjen Bagatin was one of the keynote speakers of the conference with a presentation on the topic of „Health tourism in Croatia – more than just a service: Case study Zagreb.” He also participated in a panel dealing with the releveance of accreditation and certification in healthcare and was the moderator of a panel dealing with the topic of Aesthetics and Dental Health: Worldwide Health Tourism Booster.
The aim of this conference was first and foremost to expand the network of contacts and to establish cooperation with new partners on new and existing markets as well as positioning and representing Zagreb and Croatia as the new top destination for medical tourism.
Furthermore, knowledge and experience exchange and the development of an even better cooperation with state institutions such as the Croatian Chamber of Commerce, Zagreb Tourist board and all other service providers that present leaders in this field on the Croatian market are an important part of this system.
With the completion of this HTI Conference, they will start with the preparations for the next HTI Conference that will be held in Bruxelles in the end of 2018. We are looking forward to new acquaintances, new interesting panels and lectures, presenting new products and new achievements of Croatia, the city of Zagreb and Bagatin Clinic.
