IMTJ - International Medical Travel Journal is one of the world's most prestigious organizations for the promotion of medical tourism. It is an independent organization whose primary objective is the protection of patients and their satisfaction, which are achieved by maintaining the highest quality of services and care for patient safety.

Each year, IMTJ organizes the Medical Travel Summit which brings together representatives from the world's most prestigious medical institutions. Also, each year they nominate and award the best clinics in as many as 19 categories for the outstanding achievement in the medical travel, medical tourism and health tourism industry worldwide.

Bagatin Clinic's effort has been recognized by this prestigious organization. For the past two years, we have been nominated in several categories, and in 2017 we won the award for the International cosmetic surgery clinic of the year and were finalists in the best marketing initiative category.

This year we have also been nominated in our two 'winning' categories - for the International cosmetic surgery clinic of the year and for Best marketing initiative, and are hoping this will again be a winning combination for our clinic.

We have opened the doors of our new, much larger and more spacious location which specializes in cosmetic surgery and have expanded our surgical team.

In addition to Dr. Tomica and Dr. Dinko Bagatin, our surgical team is comprised of Dr. Johann Nemrava, a specialist in general surgery, and  subspecialist in plastic, reconstructive and cosmetic surgery; Dr. Maja Malić, specialist in otorhinolaryngology; Professor Katarina Šakić, specialist in anesthesiology, reanimatology and intensive care medicine, and Dr. Judith Adrianne Deutsch, also specialist in anesthesiology, reanimatology and intensive care medicine. A great support for doctors are our excellent nurses and medical technicians.

We are continuously expanding the range of cosmetic surgery procedures and our offers; our doctors are constantly being educated in their fields, we work on acquiring certificates and accreditations as a confirmation of our quality and we look forward to each happy and satisfied client.

Throughout the year we work on various marketing initiatives, where we try to present our current and future clients all that Bagatin Clinic has to offer - a wide range of services performed by top experts in the field with the help of the latest technology.

In early September, with the launch of our new anti-age campaign, we have also introduced our new, redesigned logo, as we want to keep up with the trends and show that we have exceeded the Croatian market and became an international clinic.

The IMTJ Medical Travel Summit 2019 takes place from 1^st – 3^rd of December in Berlin. Our representatives will once again present Bagatin Clinic as well as Zagreb and Croatia and demonstrate that the development of medical tourism is not only reserved for the largest world clinics, but for all us who provide our domestic and international clients the highest quality of care.

We hope that this year our dedicated work will also be recognized and that our representatives will return to Zagreb with the awards!
